Green with Envy?

To the editor: I cannot believe you allowed this article to be published (“Queer Eye for the Country Guy,” Aug. 18, 2004). Is this writer a little jealous? Maybe upset that only t-shirts will fit around his middle? This was nothing more than senseless drivel and may well cause a lawsuit for even implying these men might be gay. All I can say is, “What an idiot.” The artists mentioned need public support to be successful. And to say that about Pat Green of all people? I thought you were proud Texans. Apparently not.

To the editor: I am writing about “Queer Eye for the Country Guy.” In the article, you suggest that Pat Green is “pushing the metrosexual envelope.” Metrosexual is not even a word. So, what, you have to make up words to make your article more appealing? Making up what you consider to be cool words is not cool and only shows the “nerdiness” of John Nova Lomax. See, you are not the only one who can make words up. Who the hell ever heard of a guy with the middle name “Nova”? Hello? How much more queer of a name can you get? Crawl back behind your computer, Nova-Boy. It will take a lot more than made-up words to help you. Pat Green has more fans than you could ever dream of having.
