The American Institute of Architects

The American Institute of Architects’ 25-Year Award has been given since 1969 to buildings between 25 and 35 years old that exhibit superior design and public utility. Recipients of the prize include New York’s Rockefeller Center and Guggenheim Art Museum, St. Louis’ Gateway Arch, and Fort Worth’s Kimbell Art Museum. An exhibit devoted to the winners of this prize is now on view at the downtown Fort Worth Public Library.
