FWAC Mondays @ The Wreck
While new, the Fort Worth Arts Consortium, led by some bright veteran scenesters, is really kicking ass. Helping with fundraisers, putting up posters, hanging out, and talking up bands, FWAC is fast living up to its mission, that of uniting all “expressionists” (artists of any stripe) in the 817 area code in the service of raising the proverbial tide to lift all of the boats. One of the group’s latest community-based projects gets rolling this week at the Wreck Room, where the front stage will be opened every Monday to prospective sitter-inners, acoustic or otherwise.
