As you may (or may not) know (or care), Last Call is blue-collar to the core. Rarely does your columnist associate with country clubs, their members, or their causes, but this Saturday should prove to be an exception. Spearheaded by local golf nut Weston Black, a group of upper-crusters is hosting a benefit at the Bronx Zoo Sports Café for The Warm Place, a local nonprofit organization that helps children who are grieving the loss of loved ones. Saturday’s event is being held specifically in commemoration of suicide victims Ryan Matthews and Rob Simpson. Jordan Mycoskie, Whitebread Picnic, and Mellowship are scheduled to perform. The event kicks off at 6 p.m., immediately following the Colonial Golf Tournament. A donation of $10 will get you in the door.
