Citing Sources
The show at Gallery 414 is called Citing Sources because it features paintings inspired by photographs. James Lassen makes realistic renderings of found snapshots and pictures of cell phone users, while Devon Nowlin digitally manipulates pictures from 1950s women’s magazines to create his surreal images. The show is up through the weekend.
