Peace in Crawford
To the editor: Excellent report on the Peace House (“Peace on the Prairie,” Aug. 25, 2004) in Crawford. I don’t often read such well-written articles that illuminate seemingly minute but essential details, such as the incident with the churches and food donations. I find it reprehensible that churches would refuse or ignore food donations from a group for any reason. No convictions, principles, or values are worth the price of human hunger. Shame on them.
