\r\nRecent Work and Beyond Surface
William Campbell Contemporary Art’s new show opens this weekend, and it’s all about the surface of things. Randall Reid’s sculptures play on the ambiguous look of their materials (with wood and steel made to look like each other), while Steve Murphy’s drawings of shapes manage to be both solidly present and dreamlike and hazy.
