Close-to-Home Dirt
To the editor: Was it really necessary for Brian Abrams to slander the Hooters restaurant chain in his “local girl does good” story (“Tex-sex Star,” Jan. 19, 2005)? His remark that, “until she really got going in the porn industry, she hadn’t done anything ‘dirty’ for pay, except work at Hooters,” is really quite ironic. Everybody in town knows, if you want to find a girl that will do something dirty for pay, just look between the pages of the Fort Worth Weekly instead of within the walls of Hooters.
In his review of this young actress, I find it hard to believe Mr. Abrams could not find some other reason for Miss Jane’s ascension into smut other than picking on Hooters. He owes the restaurant an apology.
