Motor sport fans who couldn’t make it to Texas Motor Speedway’s O’Reilly 300 and Texas Showdown: Check out Chevy Thunder in Sundance Square, featuring live country music, interactive games, show cars, racing simulators, and appearances by NASCAR drivers.

Redheaded songstress Jo Dee Messina will headline the musical entertainment, singing her hits “Bye Bye,” “I’m Alright,” “Lesson in Leavin’,” “Stand Beside Me,” and the recent “Bring On the Rain.” Also taking the stage will be PinMonkey, best known for their road-themed “I Drive All Night” and their cover of Sugar Ray’s pop hit “Fly”; Jimmy Wayne, making his Metroplex debut; and Brian McComas.

The Indy Racing Challenge gives fans a chance to get their hands dirty and see what it’s like to work on a pit crew for a real Indy Racing League car, competing against each other and the clock to change out tires and refuel.

The specialty Corvette tour display showcases a prime selection of Corvette models and milestone engines spanning the iconic sports car’s 50-year history. The Pontiac Motorsports Roadshow features several famous cars, as well as a recording studio where fans can record their own c.d. (watch out, Bob Seger).

Drivers on hand to greet the public and sign autographs will include son-of-the-legend Dale Earnhardt Jr., Michael Waltrip, Bobby Labonte, Steve Park, Mike Skinner, Ricky Craven, Robby Gordon, and David Starr.
