Traditionally, abstract paintings tend to appear on big canvases, while photographs tend to be limited in size. The current show at The Gallery at UTA, however, stands those ideas on their heads. Casey Williams’ photographs of ships’ hulls and their reflections in water are blown up to mural size, while Vincent Falsetta’s studies on paper are shown as tiny abstract works.
