For all you high schoolers who haven’t coughed up the dough for a decent phony driver’s license: Bluebonnet Circle’s Ocean Rock seafood restaurant recently instituted a new policy prohibiting minors on the premises after the kitchen closes (10 p.m. weekdays, 11 p.m. weekends), responding to wily youths trying to pass themselves off as 21-and-ups. Tiff & Andi’s Place right across the street, according to the owners, has also run into similar juvenile attempts.
Pups at both places haven’t been very successful.
“Last week there were these three guys who came in here with fake ID’s, and they looked 15,” said Rock barkeep Bridget. “When I carded them I asked their address, and they were like, ‘Uhh ...’”
