To the editor: I’m writing in reference to the article “Queer Eye for the Country Guy” (Aug.18, 2004) by John Nova Lomax. The author states, “As for the George Strait montage pictured here, we’ve included it as sort of a control group. Ol’ George hasn’t changed much over the years, and he’s as “Strait” as they come. His colors don’t run, and pink ain’t one of ‘em.”
Well, as you can see by going to the www.georgestrait.com web site, he is often photographed wearing pink. Seems as though an author might do some research on his subject matter, even if it is a ridiculously silly article.
