It’s been a long time, but “Musician on the Street” is back. In the hot seat this week/month/year/whatever is Woodeye’s Carey Wolff. We caught him via e-mail in the middle of, like, a codeine binge or something. Answers to questions such as “What’s the best local show you’ve seen over the past few weeks?” and “Who do you plan on voting for this presidential election?” were so embedded in his wonderfully trippy response that we thought we’d just run everything and let you figure them out. “Hey, HearSay. I just got your e-mail. My computer pisses me off most days, so I don’t check it as much as I should, but it seems that there are a lot of good deals on prescription drugs and penis enlargement these days. I might want to look into it. If these answers seem a little incoherent it is because I’m under the weather and am loaded to the gills with cold medicine. The best local show I’ve seen lately is the Velvet Love Box seventh anniversary show, but they are always a good bet. I also enjoyed Sorta at the Wreck Room, as well as Chatterton at the Black Dog. I think I will probably vote for Lucifer with the Easter Bunny as his running mate this election. Ohh yeaahh, I think the cold medicine is starting to kick in now. The c.d.’s I’ve been listening to are Bobby Bare Jr.’s solo album and Love is Hell by Ryan Adams. I also have the Bolshoi’s greatest hits on hand, just in case. Wow, have you ever really looked at your hands? I mean reallly looked at them? The best show on television right now I would say would have to be Scrubs, and the worst would be anything where one has to switch wives with some other poor slob. Jesus says he owes you ten bucks. Sorry, it’s the cold medicine, I hope. I pretty much only listen to the Ticket 1310-AM when I listen to the radio. Occasionally I will push the scan button to see if I’m missing anything. I’m not. Well, this concludes my broadcast day. Join us next week when you will here me say (incoherent rambling)!” HearSay hearts Carey Wolff.
