Lil and the Cops
To the editor: I just read your article on Texas Lil (“Still Wranglin’”) in the Jan. 19 issue. As a citizen of Northlake for the past six years, I can say that I’m proud of the Northlake Police Department. Regarding the Northlake PD, your article only stated the opinion of one person, a person who happens to be charged with a crime. I would challenge you to find one person charged with a felony who has a positive view of the arresting law enforcement agency. In my opinion, the citizens of Northlake could not ask for a better law enforcement organization. I have great respect for the chief and the officers under his command. In my dealings with the personnel, I have found them to be fair, honest, and fine representatives of the Town of Northlake.
