Digitalis Purpurea
Nuremberg native Joachim Kersten conceived his current show in response to an invitation from the Bavarian city of Schweinfurt (“pig ford”) to design a show for their exhibition hall. The invitation spawned a series of five shows called Digitalis Purpurea, and some of the paintings from that series are now on display at William Campbell.
