Explicably Barren
To the editor: I appreciated Jimmy Fowler’s article about Celaborelle Phoenician Buffet (“Sweet Home Ablama,” Jan. 26, 2005). However, allow me to offer my opinion on why the restaurant may have experienced “fickle clienteles” and was “inexplicably barren” upon his visit. I live in Denton, and after experiencing their ambrosial buffet while in Fort Worth, I became addicted and tried to revisit every time I found myself in the area. Unfortunately they were closed each time I visited (at prime time weekend dining hours), and I gave up. Hopefully your article will encourage more people to visit and, in turn, encourage the proprietors to maintain more consistent business hours.
